TIGHT
FEBRUARY 2020This project, as part of a third year interarts module at London Contemporary Dance School, was a 3 hour durational performance in which I built a large tapestry that hung suspended off the ground out of wooden frames and mesh materials, mostly tights. Accompanying my process was a video, a collage of my own and found footage that pieced together the history of ‘gendered’ crafts, from construction workers to fabric weavers.
